The Sri Lankan mud crab is a delicacy world over and sought-after in many markets.  Although known as Sri Lankan mud crab, it is being reared in many other countries, and sold and distributed to many restaurants.  We have the authentic Sri Lankan mud crabs caught off the Eastern and Western seas as soft-shelled crabs and reared in vertical crab farm of our own groomed and fattened for exports.  Vertical crab farming, as opposed to fattening in ponds, ensures that the crabs do not get cannibalized or damaged before harvesting.  Ideal crabs for restaurants need be fresh and without any damaged claws.
